THE FASHION AWARD

Mittelmoda The Fashion Award is the well-known fashion competition at international level, reserved to fashion designers and fashion design students of Art & Design colleges from all over the world.
The winners will get a capsule fashion show on Mittelmoda’s catwalk and they’ll be awarded with one of the many prizes available.
The contest is free. There are no registration fees.

How to apply

1 – Download the “to apply”

Download the regulation in ENG or ITA and read it thoroughly.

2 – Register

Fill the registration form that you can find below and send it no later than June, 30th 2026.

3 – Design your portfolio

Sketch out your collections and get your portfolio prepared to be reviewed by our team.

4 – Check and send:

Be sure that fabric samples, concept and visuals of your works have been added. Revise everything for the last time and send your application to us.

An excellent technical Jury will meet in the next months to examine and value the portfolios containing the projects enrolled and to select the collections complete of accessories which will participate to the final phase of the event. The Jury headed by Matteo Marzotto and composed of well-renowned fashion design experts, opinion leaders and media gurus will meet up and the names of the 32st edition finalists will be announced via web!

This year “International Lab of Mittelmoda” fashion show and awarding ceremony will take place in Milan (Mid Oct 2026 TBC).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The competition is open to all students between the ages of 22 and 30 years old who have:

• completed their studies in fashion design/model design/management and economy in the academic year 2025/2026
• completed (or going to complete) their studies in the academic year 2026/2027
• completed their studies in technical-professional post diploma courses in fashion design and/or model design in the academic year 2025/2026
• completed (or going to complete) their studies in technical-professional post diploma courses in the academic year 2026/2027
