ABOUT THIS PROJECT
I am Shirin Araghi, a 22 y/o newcomer fashion and communication designer from Germany. I recently graduated from the AMD Düsseldorf, I was awarded with the certificate of excellence, I won the award for the best fashion collection (AMD fashion award 2019) and I am a finalist in the I-Skool and the Mittelmoda Award this year.
I focused on sustainability very early in my young career. As a student, when I was exploring my creativity and when I got the feeling, that I was on the right path and that fashion design is my whole vocation, I suddenly started doubting. I learned, that this industry, which always seems to be bright, glamorous and iridescent, was dirty behind the curtains of superficiality. I felt the strong urge to change this business, because I was so thankful about the possibility to live my dream, that I wanted to give something back to the world of fashion, which became my home.
