Her path into fashion was anything but conventional. Initially drawn to a scientific education, she gradually discovered a strong need to create, first through textiles and sustainability. Rather than seeing fashion simply as a way to produce clothes, she became interested in its ability to provoke, disturb, and make people question what they see.
Knitwear has since become her main medium and a space for experimentation. Fascinated by the contrast between its perception as soft or nostalgic and the technical complexity behind it, she explores its potential for illusion, imitation, disguise, and surprise. For her, a garment succeeds when it creates curiosity and opens a conversation with the viewer.
Craftsmanship is equally central to her practice. She has spent her holidays working alongside artists and learning new techniques, developing a hands-on relationship with materials and construction. Her research has also taken her to Southeast Asia, where she studied textile traditions within minority communities and the impact of the fashion industry on their preservation.
Today, she is interested in the space between maximalism and minimalism, craftsmanship and technology, past and future. Her ambition is to explore knitwear as a tool for cultural dialogue and positive change, combining ancestral techniques with new technologies to imagine more responsible and unexpected forms of fashion.
