ABOUT LORENA:
I am Lorena Valle, a Junior fashion designer, born and raised in a small town in the province of Bergamo, Trescore Balneario.
A place that has always been a source of inspiration and reflection for me, a place that inevitably also acts as a filter for my creative vision.
I am a person with a strongly materic attitude, I have always painted and intervened on every surface available to me, but my favorite remains textiles and garments because then they can become a vehicle for emotions, messages, meanings that everyone chooses for themselves and subsequently decides to bring into the world and into everyday reality.
My dream and goal for the future is undoubtedly to live under the banner of simplicity, creativity and emotion in every aspect of life. I have a purely artistic and sartorial background in that since high school I decided to study fashion and tailoring.
Immediately after graduation I decided to experience the working world in order to learn on the job, and I worked for 2 years in a pattern-making and prototyping Lab, a highly formative and important experience to this day in my work in the style office.
During the pandemic, however, like many, during this interval period of introspection something clicked that led me to decide to revolutionize my life in every facet.
I started by quitting my job and following that I started working with paint and vintage by painting garments also in collab with some stores in Bergamo.
I then continued this revolutionary motion by moving to Milan and started studying in Fashion Design and Collections course, pursuing the desire to create emotions and live by creativity.
This path in the Academy has given me so much both on a personal and educational level, and it is thanks to this that I was able to create the collection that I am presenting to you right now and also a subsequent one that will be presented during Fashion Graduate 2024.
Following this beautiful path 2024 gave me the opportunity to start working as a junior designer for RTW for a made in Italy brand alongside senior designers rich in experience from whom I am learning a lot.
Definitely yet another dream and goal is to continue producing and developing personal projects to give light and breath to my creative vision.
