Estonia / ON STAGE

Estonian Academy of Arts

Before my studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts, I studied tailoring at the Tallinn Industrial Education Center.

During the four academic years, I spent one semester studying abroad with the Erasmus program in Denmark, Design School Kolding.
The Danish school and Danish design, in general, are aimed at the design of so-called ready-to-sell products, and when I was there, I realized that I like the more artistic side of fashion, where the boundaries are blurred and there is enough room to play.

And already in the past, I have had the goal of creating my materials, forms, and textiles - through this process I have more control over my work. And from there, the desire to depict recognizable objects and emotions of real life in knitwear has grown.
