ABOUT Kamil
My name is Kamil, I am 27 years old, born and raised in a small village in Israel.
At the age of 18 I joined the army for 4 years as a combat officer, it safe to say that it shaped my personality and gave me the tools to handle all kind of situations. After discharge I decided to make my dream come true and move to Milan to be a fashion designer. I just finished my third year in fashion design & accessories (womenswear) in Istituto Marangoni Milano.
During these years I experimented different technics and learned how to express myself in the best way. For my final collection I chose to focus on my grandparents, I believe that Corona virus taught us an important lesson about family and protecting those who close to us.
Therefore, I saw this opportunity to dedicate this project to them. The collection is focusing on their stories, hobbies and creations while giving special attention to the family business, flowers. The garments are mostly coved with different types of fabric manipulations and contains embroidered flowers, beads and prints all made by hand.
