ABOUT THIS PROJECT

My name is Francesca Guidozzi, I am 21 years old and I come from Agliana, near Pistoia.

I am creative, dreamer and very curious, always looking for new sources of inspiration to add to my creations.

The huge passion for arts and fashion has always pushed my self to visit museums and to develop high manual skills. I think that traveling is the best way to discover different cultures and to develop my personal vision of fashion and my personal style.

I am a very motivated person and I always do my best to reach successfully my goals.

My inclination for drawing drove me to undertake artistic studies, in fact I attended the artistic high school “Liceo Artistico Umberto Brunelleschi”, in Montemurlo, Prato.

Later I followed my studies in “Fashion Designer” at Istituto Modartech in Pontedera where I had the chance to realize a whole collection starting from the study of new trends using social media, fashion magazines and taking part at international fashion fairs.

Thanks to my studies, I have gained high graphic skills using Photoshop e Illustrator together with technical skills in tailoring and realizing paper patterns.

My dream in life is to have the chance to make several working experiences in order to open in the future my personal fashion line.

My collection is inspired by childhood, the time of life that should be focused on play, full of laughs and without any sort of suffering and thoughts.

Unfortunately, not all the children live a happy life; some of them live in poverty and in conditions of hardship. Thinking about this, I developed my collection because all children have the right to play and have fun. My concept is inspired by their fantasy, full of colors and shapes reproduced on my outfits.

The creative recycling is well shown in my collection.  In my opinion, this is the best way to help our planet avoiding waste, using creativity and originality.
