ABOUT Elia Degli Innocenti:
Elia Degli Innocenti is a fashion designer who began building his creative language long before entering fashion school. At just 22, he has already developed a practice grounded in technical curiosity, precision, and a strong understanding of garment construction. His interest in fashion started during middle school, when he taught himself pattern making and sewing, turning an early fascination into a hands-on way of learning.
After attending a scientific high school, Elia brought a methodical and analytical mindset to his design practice. He later studied Fashion Design at Politecnico di Milano, where he developed his technical skills while refining his approach to the relationship between idea, construction, and finished garment.
Following his graduation in September 2025, he joined Zegna’s Style Office for a six-month internship, gaining first-hand experience within the design environment of one of Italy’s most established menswear houses.
His path brings together an instinctive approach to making with a structured way of thinking. From learning to sew independently as a teenager to working within a professional fashion studio, Elia’s development has been consistently driven by the same curiosity: understanding how an idea can be translated into a precisely constructed garment.
