ABOUT DANIEL

Daniel Angelo Nicola Pantaleo is a fashion and industrial designer with also a big passion for music, arts and any possible form of expression.

Half Italian half Hungarian, born in Naples, he grew up between the lands and old towns of Arezzo in Tuscany.

Daniel studied his M.A. in fashion at University of the Arts Bremen, before it he concluded his Bachelor in Industrial and Communication Design in Florence.

Since the second semester he has made professional experiences such as intern at Vivienne Westwood Studios in London.

Here, he worked in the haute couture cutting department, and he assisted Andreas Kronthaler in the realization of 3 haute couture show pieces, showed in Paris (SS18).

His works made with vegetal-tanned leather where displayed at the international leather fair Lineapelle 2018 in Milan, taking part in the 10 international students’ competition “Craft the leather”. He assisted 4 Vivienne Westwoods’ fashion shows (SS18-AW19-SS19-AW19) and Rick Owens Men’s show (SS20) presented in Paris.

During his studies he was engaged as student tutor for the fashion master students at University of the Arts Bremen. His master work won the second prize of its university’s design recognition. In January 2021 was invited as guest lecturer for Fashion event conceptualization at IED Milano.

Since march 2021, he is interning as womenswear designer at Adidas Originals.

His collection is an examination of the relationship between wearer and cloth.

Both try to create their own identity and find each other in a metamorphosis, his research moves experimentally on the limits of wearability and defined gender.

For Daniel A.N. Pantaleo everything in fashion is important and at the same time it is a game.
