In the era of the internet and social media, the dystopian novel “1984" by George Orwell has become more relevant than ever.

In the 21st century, we see references such as "Big Brother" and "Thoughts Police" to be more relevant than ever, acting as warnings for the political oppression that bans freedom and liberty.

In the story, the main character, Winston, rewrites history to correlate to the Big Brother’s principles.

This distortion of the truth reminds me of - “Lorem Ipsum”, a pattern, that serves as a filler text in the print industry. The text is barely legible, and is composed of random Latin words used as a template to represent text.
Similar to Lorem ipsum, Winston disrupts the content of newspapers and magazines using pre-made templates; This action creates an ever-changing truth-“Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past”.

The collection combines a new technique of women's tailoring, which creates a new tailored silhouette with non-conventional materials such as lycra and foam padding.
Handmade patterns developed for this collection were inspired by Lorem Ipsum template that illustrates identity confusion and overload of misinformation, using familiar patterns in new ways.
