Absolute Prize for the Most Experimental Collection
Born in a small Slovenian town, Peter Movrin has from his early childhood shown an incredible passion for art, fashion and handmade details.
Growing up in a butcher’s family marked him with a roughness that he transcends in his designs with a special kind of romanticism. His ambition is to create clothes as adornments for body.
Movrin is best known for his impressive unisex pieces with massive silhouettes. His work has won numerous prizes and was part of exhibitions such as the MoBa Biennale, where his graduation collection Franz Madonna was shown next to Jean Paul Gaultier, Maison Martin Margiela and Prada.
Peter Movrin pieces were worn by Lady Gaga and were part of the Hollywood blockbuster The Hunger Games.
Since 2014 he is studying at Central Saint Martins MA Womenswear.
