Claudio Maria Potenti
Claudio is attending the last year of the Fashion Design course (BA) at Istituto Marangoni, Milan. Although he’s originally from Pistoia, Tuscany, he has studied four years in Prato, Tuscany, with the main focus on classical studies, as well as on languages and European studies.
Seeking new experiences and to improve his English skills, Claudio has lived a year in the United States of America at the age of 17. Studying in a high school in Wisconsin, known for its great art programs, he has developed a strong fascination to theater, singing, and art in general. He has continued his theater studies in Tuscany as well, along with 7 years of classical music and piano lessons and one year of singing lessons.
In 2015, Claudio has worked as a showroom assistant at Rick Owens during the Milan fashion week, and he has also worked multiple times with Tomorrow Ltd Showroom as an assistant, dresser, and receptionist, both in the Paris and the Milan showrooms.
In 2016, he has worked as a designer assistant and social media manager with Gruppo Intimo Italiano in the ready-to-wear department and with Manifatture Twins in the Shaft Jeans department during a one-month internship.
Claudio has won the Rado Star Prize 2016 audience award, and in 2017 has been selected to participate to a three-days workshop held by Premiere Vision in Paris, in a five-people team representing Istituto Marangoni and Italy.
